Report: Arsenal 2-1 Crystal Palace

Aaron Ramsey was the hero again as Arsenal were forced to battle for a winning start to the 2014/15 campaign against Crystal Palace.

The Emirates stadium went silent when Hangeland put the visitors ahead with a header before Koscielny pulled off his own tricks in the air by equalizing at the other end right before the first half ended.

Ironically, the Arsenal onslaught expected after going level was never put on show in the second-half and it took a scrappy late goal from Ramsey to secure the win.

  1. Why is Arteta the holding midfielder? And as captain his name will be first on the team sheet! Chambers was great ……Kos v good….Debuchy fine, Sanchez needs time and Sanogo ok but all in all not good enough….still need super DM and stunning striker surely AW knows this!!!!!!
