Arsenal’s diamond scores first World Cup goal

If the Gunners were not planning on bringing Joel Campbell into the Premier League anytime soon, they may have to hurry up and do so now.

On evidence of the 21-year-old’s thumping finish in Costa Rica’s World Cup clash with Uruguay, Arsenal have some talent on their books.

After netting the equalizer for his country, Campbell proved he is not just about goals but assists too as he set up Costa Rica’s third goal in a 3-1 triumph on Saturday.

  1. Splendid player, he reminded me of Lioner Mercy when was younger. But the only problem is that he has to be a french player if he must be in Wengers plan.

  2. Olympiakos has first option to buy J. Campbell from Arsenal if I remember correctly . If my memory of the loan deal is correct. And no buy back clause in the agreement

    • But Arsenal have first option to keep the player. And buy back clauses have nothing to do with loan deals mate. Don’t confuse this with the Carlos Vela deal.
