Gonzalo Higuain is prepared to remain a Real Madrid player until the end of this month to take his time in deciding on where his new club will be.
The Argentine striker has been strongly linked with the Gunners this summer, while there has been an approach from Juventus who have chosen to be more direct in their pursuit of Higuain.
But contrary to rumours at the moment, the 26-year-old is on his way to neither club yet and indeed his brother and agent Nicolas Higuain has confirmed to Spanish source ‘Marca’ that the Madrid striker will be holding ‘agenda talks’ by the end of this month over which offered deals will be the best fit for Higuain’s future.
Despite reports that Arsenal had presented a staggering £19 million bid, Real Madrid confirmed last week that the club had not received any enquiry from the Gunners. But if Gooners were to get their wish and Higuain became an Arsenal player, here is what it would look like…
