All worthy talking points about the Gunners

PICTURE: A beauty or ugly stuff – how do you like Bergkamp’s statue?

So here is a peek at the statue of Dennis Bergkamp which will soon be unveiled outside the Emirates stadium. The motion was inspired by an athletic leap the flying Dutchman made for the ball during a match against Newcastle.

It was on that same day which he produced one of his most unforgettable moments in Arsenal coluors – that goal at St. James Park.

But how do you like this art work? Was this the best choice of image to use? Share your thoughts!

Just that it’s Dennis – the Greatest player in Arsenal’s history – who should’ve had a statue well before the likes of Henry – makes it Great!

      Absolutely spot on DB10!

Henry, great player that he was benefitted from others around him. Bergkamp was the start of the new era and the catalyst of our new attacking dimension.

Also, and more important in my view. As much as I loved Henry, he (and Vieira) regularly flirtted with the big spanish clubs. Bergkamp never did. Arsenal through and through.

Although its great to have the statue of the Dutch master at the Emirate it is long overdue, but looking critically at the statue it doe not really resemble the picture i’m seeing, for example look at the fingers the are not separated but the one on the statue is separated. In the photograph you can also see all the stud of his boot but the one on the statue is not. Any way its good to have his statue at the Emirate.
